Geetanjali Deole

Geetanjali is a licensed mental health counselor and works as a multilingual therapist at the counseling center of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Geetanjali grew up in India and completed her Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Geetanjali’s clinical and research interests primarily focus on increasing mental health accessibility for Sotuh Asian Immigrant and international students by integrating a decolonized model of therapy and outreach in university counseling centers. As a clinician, Geetanjali uses a trauma-informed and multicultural approach to explore the impact of family relationships, cultural identity, and acculturation on student health and wellbeing.
