Judy Frater is the Spring 2022 Interdisciplinary Artist-in-Residence.

Judy Frater’s interdisciplinary arts residency is presented by the UW–Madison Division of the Arts and hosted by the Design Studies Department with Professor Jenny Angus as lead faculty. She is offering the course Design Studies 527: Diversity, Connection, Value and Sustainability – the Role of Hand Craft. As part of her residency course the students will be holding a trunk show of limited edition products on April 30 at the School of Human Ecology. The show will coincide with a reception for the exhibition Coming Together: Culturally Inspired Creation at the Lynn Mecklenburg Textile Gallery (April 20-May 27).
