UW Alum, Raney Aronson-Rath ’92, is the second-ever executive producer of PBS’s acclaimed investigative series Frontline. She is leading the charge in innovative storytelling. Aronson-Rath is recognized for her groundbreaking work in driving the series’ respected documentary journalism, and recently spearheaded Frontline’s foray into virtual reality with a gripping exploration of the Ebola crisis in West Africa. Her journey from rural Vermont to UW-Madison, where she double-majored in history and South Asian studies, reflects her initial aspiration for a career in international diplomacy.
