Jeremy studies Indian and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, with a particular focus on how metaphysical and epistemological questions intersect with religious and ethical practices. In addition to writing, editing, and translating, he teaches in the UW-Madison Philosophy Department. Jeremy is an editor with 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha, a nonprofit dedicated to making the Tibetan Buddhist canon available in English translation. Alongside his academic training, his interests and areas of specialization reflect nine years spent in a Tibetan monastic college in India. Jeremy was a Ho Family Buddhism Public Scholar between 2024 and 2026, and his research has also been supported by Tsadra (2023), the Ho Family Program in Buddhist Studies (2022), and the Fulbright-Hays (2021).
