| My ethnographic study explores how Muslim women in India take care of others in their daily lives, and how this translates into politics of relatedness. Using a decolonial framework, my project extends research on shifting dynamics and meanings of care in Indian localized contexts and nuances simplistic perceptions of aspirations among ‘modern’ Muslim women. This project is being funded by the American Institute of Indian Studies Fellowship 2022. |
